I just didn’t like that the rooms were very cold especially the bathrooms pillows very bad & no information in room about anything. The spa told us they were not allowed by the hotel to leave their brochures in rooms

This is a great hotel and we very much enjoyed our holiday stay there. Whilst we mostly dined out, the breakfast were probably the best when compared to similar priced hotels.
The only issue for me is the complete lack of security, where members of the public can use the same pool and beach facilities as hotel guests. Whilst these members of the public have to pay a fee to enter and are supposed to be limited to the beach, there are no barriers physical or otherwise that prevent them entering the family pool. With young children I see this as a particularly major risk. Although Malta does not have a track record of terrorist or child snatching activities, it doesn't mean this can't happen. When discussing this with staff at the hotel, it was clear they are simply not equipped to manage this risk effectively.
